ReplyDeleteYou need a sewing lesson! - don't feel bad though - I thought I knew what a fat quarter was but I found out for reals just a few months ago! Well, it's quilting thing, and I've never called myself a quilter.
just so you know, a fat quarter is 18"x22" - it's a half yard cut then cut on the fold (along the width). It's closer to a square then a long strip (a true 1/4 yard) so it's better for cutting pieces out for quilting. Don't you feel better knowing that now?
oh, one more thing. I won a $25 gift card to a fabric store yesterday! I am lucky!!!
